Understanding basic boot terminology
SOLE: The inner sole is where your foot rests when wearing the boot. The outer sole is the bottom of the boot.
HEEL: Heels are usually leather, formed and glued together, fitted and shaped to the back portion of the outer sole. Heels come in different shapes, sizes, and heights, depending on the intended use of the boot.
TOE: The toe of the boot may come in many different shapes; some of the most popular are R, snip, square, and roper.
VAMP: The front lower part of the boot below the shaft, usually cut from a single piece of leather or skin. However, vamps are sometimes pieced and sewn together to give the boot a unique look.
COUNTER: The back part of the boot, just above the heel, usually matches the leather or skin used in the vamp.
SHAFT: Sometimes referred to as the top, upper part, of the boot or the boot-maker´s canvas for expression. The shaft usually has different types of stitching patterns, designs, laser cuts, inlays, or other artwork, to make the boot unique. The shaft may also include laser cut designs, with or without exotic skin, leather, or other inlays underneath.
PIPING: The side seam that runs up the side of the boot from the bottom to the top, between the front and back section, of the shaft. Piping is usually found on the inside and outside of the shaft but may be used in other areas to add unique design appearance.
PULL STRAPS: Leather tabs or straps found at the very top of the shaft on both sides, usually on the outside of the shaft. However, on some boots, the pull straps may be found on the inside of the shaft. They are used to help pull the boot on. Some pull straps called “mule ears” may go partially or all the way down the outside of the shaft.
LINING: Found on the inside of the shaft. The lining covers the seam where the front and back half of the shaft is sewn together. All Corral Boots come with a full inside lining which covers the inside seam, adding to the boot´s comfort.
I’ve ordered boots from boot barn and Cavender’s and was sent boots that had been tried on stretched out and scuffed, no packing in box with boots. Corral shipped new boots packed up nicely and obviously in perfect condition. I am devoting myself to Corral, thank you
The cutest boots ever!!! I love how unique my boots are, they’re amazing and everyone love them!! Definitely recommend everyone to check out the one website! 100/100 for me!!
These boots were made for walking!! So beautiful!!
Always wanted my first pair of boots. I did a lot of research before I chose these they’re gorgeous, my closet, still resonates from the smell of leather. Can’t wait to wear them. Looks smells feels like a custom pair of boots at five times the price!
Ok so this is VERY EMBARRASSING FOR ME, you have NO CLUE! But I love all my cowgirls and really want to help you all weather I’m putting myself out there or not! You’re probably thinking what is she talking about! Well, I actually took multiple pics of the boot off and on for show! I will even do a video for you lady’s if wanted, just lmk! And please…no negative comments on my page. I’m already embarrassed to post the pics as is but doing so for all my cowgirl’s out of 100% love! So please have same respect! Thank you:).of feet, but doing it out of 100% love and care for you all! So please kindly give me same respect:). Thank you lady’s!!
I also want to say I had no trouble at all getting my foot down in there with my amputations! The Tanner Marks I spent $600 on and the worst for comfort! Not to minchine the fact I lift. Had to cut them down the back just to get my foot in! Otherwise I couldn’t wear! NOT COOL! To cut high quality 100% real leather! And I couldn’t even return! Crazy and thumbs down all the way! But with Corral honest to the good Lord, you will ABSOLUTELY LOVE I CAN PROMISE THAT! Oh and I agree with one of the lady’s reviews when saying DO NOT SIZE UP JUST BC THE POINTY TOE! This is very true! I got a 4 in teens and usually wear a 6 now but they fit very well! And did I state the obvious again of the comfort, Lol! It’s true though don’t ever buy Tanners if you’re looking for comfort. They were honestly horrible in every which way besides the beautiful hand carved look. But you can get that AND MORE WITH CORRAL! Thank you guys so much:). And lady’s please remember and take into account… just between us, my little secret, Lol! No really though if you can fit a 4 or even 5they have in teens bc you will be saving well over $100.00! Mine were only $89.00. Again thank you for your loyalty and i will most deff. Be a loyal forever customer now!!:)
I just want start by saying I NEVER… leave reviews, but with these I just had to! These are soooo comfy and beautiful I’m in love and will never by another brand boots aga! As Tanner Marks are pretty boots yes… but very uncomfortable to the point I can’t even wear them! They’re Lott. Just decor now, Lol! This is huge for me because I’m a double amputee so I HAVE TO HAVE COMFORT! So yes, you should definitely. Purchase no questions asked! Just a hint though… if your feet are small enough go with the teen size bc they’re only $89.00 verses this price. Thank you SOOOO MUCH AND WILL DEFF. Be doing a lot of businesses with you guys!!!
